Firefox

Mozilla Firefox's settings protect users from mixed content.  Mixed content (or secure and non-secure content) means a webpage has elements that are both secure (HTTPS) and non-secure (HTTP) web connections. Because of this, in Vancko Hall you may sometimes notice that certain content has been blocked. If this occurred, there will be an image indicating such to the right of the address bar:

To View Non-Secure Content

To view all of the content on the page:

  1. click the icon to the left of the address bar
  2. click the drop down arrow
  3. click the "Disable Protection on This Page" button

Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer's settings protect users from mixed content.  Mixed content (or secure and non-secure content) means a webpage has elements that are both secure (HTTPS) and non-secure (HTTP) web connections. Because of this, in Vancko Hall you may sometimes receive a pop up asking if you want to view only the content that was delivered securely.  This usually happens if there is an embedded web page or YouTube video in an activity/resource.  

To View Non-Secure Content

An embedded video, web page, or link in a Vancko Hall activity or resource has caused you to get this pop-up.  
To view the entire page/video/etc. click "No"
