When users experience any type of issue in Vancko Hall (VH), there is a help portal linked on the Vancko Hall Entrance and in every course called "Get Technical Help")
Please use this help portal for all VH-related questions and issues.
During live support hours, users can use the instant messaging widget or the "call me" widget to contact live help, when available. Users should give their name, email address, phone #, and copy and paste the URL to the page where the issue resides (see below), as well as explain the issue.
When live help is not available or desired, users should fill in the help form, providing detailed information to help the technician solve the issue. Most importantly, when using the form for issues that are specific to a course, rather then general, the user must provide the URL to the course and/or to the place within the course where the issue resides (see image below). Otherwise, users must report the course name in the form: LITR-100, HUMN-120, etc. (as opposed to "Medical Math" and must provide the CRN # to the course (so that one LITR-100 course can be distinguished from another).
Rather than stating "when I submit my work" users should be very specific, noting the exact name of the item in the course where the issue resides, such as "Quiz #2" or "Week 6 Drop Box". Again, providing the direct URL address to the item (as in the red box above) will be the easiest way to point the technician directly to where the issue resides.
By providing this type of detailed information, it will ensure that your issue is located and resolved most efficiently.
Upon submitting the form, your details will be emailed to all available technicians and will be entered into the Wonderdesk ticketing system and replied to by a technician within 24 hours. All replies will be sent via the Wonderdesk ticketing system to your Delhi webmail address. When you would like to reply to the technician or provide an update on the ticket, please log into Wonderdesk and reply to your technician/ticket there.
For all issues relating to webmail, BroncoWeb, Confluence, telephone, networking or other Delhi systems, please contact the CIS Service Center.
