1. Open File Explorer from your taskbar
  2. On the left side of this window click on 'OneDrive'
  3. Enter your full Delhi email address and click 'Sign in'
  4. Finish logging in at the Single Sign On screen
  5. You will be asked what folders from your PC you want to backup to OneDrive
    Note: Files that contain PII should not be stored in OneDrive and will likely be blocked from uploading.
  6. These are the icons you will see and their status:
  7. Click through the rest of the screens and you will now see your OneDrive folder show up as 
  1. Login to your Delhi Email account
  2. In the upper left corner click on the 9 squares and select 'OneDrive'
  3. To begin uploading a file or folder click on 'Upload' on the top of the page, then choose 'file'
  4. Last you want to click on a file to select it, then click 'Open'
  5. After the file finishes uploading you will see it in under 'My Files'

  4. Enter the name, email, or group name of your recipient and click 'Send
    This will send the recipient an email with a link to the file.

    Note: By default the recipients can edit the file.  To change this please click on the icon

    Other sharing options include:

    Anyone gives access to anyone who receives this link, whether they receive it directly from you or forwarded from someone else. This may include people outside of your organization.
    People in SUNY Delhi with the link gives anyone in your organization who has the link access to the file, whether they receive it directly from you or forwarded from someone else.
    People with existing access can be used by people who already have access to the document or folder. It does not change any permissions. Use this if you just want to send a link to somebody who already has access. 
    Specific people gives access only to the people you specify, although other people may already have access. If people forward the sharing invitation, only people who already have access to the item will be able to use the link.

  2. Scroll over the file you want to share and click 'Share'
