The SUNY Learning Network (SLN) maintains an online course catalog. We are required to submit a list of online classes if we want our classes listed in the SLN Online Course Catalog.

Submitting lists of online classes

  1. Job Submission: ONLINE_COURSES_FOR_SLN_CATALOG
    • Update online_courses_with_disciplines.dat file if necessary and then do job submission again
  2. Submit a help desk ticket with the CSV file attached

Sending Updates

  1. Locate the original submission (CSV file)
  2. Job Submission: ONLINE_COURSES_FOR_SLN_CATALOG
  3. Compare the new CSV file to the old CSV file. Any courses that appeared in the old, but do not appear in the new, should be added to the new file with the active indicator changed to show that it is not an active course

This is also a good time to verify your campus' information on the SLN website. Make sure to check that your degree listings, campus profile pages, and contact information on the SLN website are all up to date. Please submit any revisions or changes to your campus information via the SLN HelpDesk.
