I think there may be a bug - when you add a comment in Wiki Markup the first line is hidden (while you are editing, you can see it if you switch to Rich Text and once you post\Save it).

This only seems to be an issue if your default is Wiki

    IE 8

Try disabling IE8 'Compatibility View'. Under the settings menu, make sure "Compatibility View" is unchecked.

It isn't a big deal, I just switched my default to Rich Text. I have Compatibility View selected so that some of my other applications can work properly...just seemed like something that should be documented as not working correctly.

"Compatibility View" is turned on/off per web site. So you can disable it for https://confluence.delhi.edu, but it should still be enabled for the other sites you need it for. You can check which sites IE8 will be in compatibility mode for under "Settings -> Compatibility View Settings", make sure 'delhi.edu' is not in the list.

Hmmm... I just noticed that 'Compatibility View' is per domain, not sub-domain, so you can only switch it on/off for all of delhi.edu, not just confluence.delhi.edu. Brilliant... Thanks again Microsoft...
