  • Accessing a Shared Folder

Windows 10

  1. Start by right clicking the start button and choosing 'File Explorer'


  2. Type the folder location in the address bar (i.e \\delhi.edu\share\Hospitality ) Then press 'Enter'


  3. Right click on 'Quick Access' and choose 'Pin current folder to Quick Access'


  4. You will now see your Network Drive listed as a folder under 'Quick Access'

Note: Windows 10 does not allow renaming of network drives under Quick Access

 

Windows 7

  1. Start by right clicking the start button and choosing 'Open Windows Explorer'


  2. Type the folder location in the address bar (i.e \\delhi.edu\share\Hospitality ) then press 'Enter'


  3. Right click on 'Favorites' and choose 'Add current location to Favorites'


  4. You will now see your Network Drive listed as a folder under your 'Favorites'

Note: You can edit the name of the network drive in your favorites.

Right click on your shared drive and choose 'Rename'
